About

Background

More than two decades in commercial banking and corporate finance, from a part-time teller role to leading C&I lending in Florida.

The story

I did not set out with a plan to become a commercial banker. I took a part-time teller job at Commerce Bank (later TD Bank), discovered that I liked the work and the people, and kept saying yes to the next responsibility. Branch leadership taught me operations and service. TD’s Commercial Credit Training Program taught me how to analyze a business and structure credit. Those two foundations, people and credit, have shaped everything since.

As a commercial lender I focused on commercial and industrial companies: manufacturers and professional services firms in New Jersey and New York City. I was the first lender at my bank dedicated solely to C&I, which meant helping define what that specialty would look like from the ground up.

In 2020 I crossed to the other side of the table as Chief Financial Officer of Wonder Food Group, where I led finance, accounting, M&A and corporate strategy. Being responsible for a company’s capital structure and banking relationships gave me a borrower’s perspective I could not have gained any other way.

In 2025 I returned to commercial banking as Managing Director, C&I Lending, for the Florida market, based in West Palm Beach.
